Mission Statement
The Arrid Club is a non-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to provide and maintain a facility for its members and other attendees of 12-Step Programs, for the purpose of meetings, social and recreational events.
History
The Arrid Club has been remembered as far back as 1974. It was then located in an old metal building which was a former welding shed next to a restaurant called the Quarter Horse on San Jacinto Street. From that location a group of members got together and purchased the location on Main Street in San Jacinto which is now The Living Waters Church. The Arrid Club was in this location for 10 years. The club then moved to Provident S/L, Joe’s Shopping Center and then the little house on Juanita. We quickly outgrew this location and then moved to 699 San Jacinto St. Next we were housed in the second largest wooden mall this side of the Mississipi, Farmers Corner on San Jacinto and Menlo just behind the Good Egg. Today you will find the club at 120 S Harvard St. Hemet Ca. the center of town.
This short history begs to be expanded upon but could never convey the amount of love, laughter, and growth the club has fostered in 50 years. A daily highlight for hundreds of people is and has been a visit to the Arrid Club. We have found love and friendship here and thank the membership for giving us a place to call home for all these years.
